Sales Employee in Amsterdam (Dutch speakers only)

What will you do?

As a Sales Employee, you will play an important role in organizing private boat tours and group arrangements on our open boats and salon boats in Amsterdam. Think of company outings, birthdays, bachelor parties, drinks and even weddings on the water. You make sure these events are perfectly organized from start to finish: from the first customer contact and preparing the quotation to the full execution on the day itself.

Your responsibilities

• Coordinate private boat tours and group bookings from A to Z;

• Coordinate all requirements for a boat tour with the relevant departments, such as the harbour team, skippers, hosts and caterers;

• Think along with customers and advise them on different types of events and arrangements;

• Prepare quotations and assist with invoicing;

• Maintain contact with various suppliers;

• Answer incoming phone calls and ensure a positive and professional customer experience;

• Inform customers about our products, arrangements and possibilities;

• Identify commercial opportunities and potential upselling opportunities;

• Collect feedback after events to continuously improve the guest experience, for example through surveys or phone calls.

Practical information

Location: Office in the heart of Amsterdam
Salary: €2,700 - €2,900 per month based on 40 hours + annual bonus

What we're looking for

• At least 1 year of relevant work experience in sales, retail or a similar commercial role;

• Good command of both Dutch and English, both written and spoken;

• An assertive and flexible attitude, with no 9-to-5 mentality;

• Customer service is your top priority;

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude;

• A talent for upselling and strong commercial skills;

• Clear and convincing communication skills.
