Administrative Events Assistant in Amsterdam (Dutch speakers only)

What will you be doing?

As an Administrative Events Assistant, you will be involved in organizing private boat tours and group arrangements on our sloops and salon boats in Amsterdam. Think company outings, birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, drinks and even weddings on the water. You will make sure these events are well organized from start to finish: from the first contact with the customer and preparing quotations to the full execution of the event on the day itself.

Your responsibilities

• Coordinate private boat tours and group bookings from A to Z;

• Coordinate all requirements for a boat tour with the relevant departments, such as the harbour team, captains, hosts and caterers;

• Advise customers and think along with them about different types of events and arrangements;

• Prepare quotations and support with invoicing;

• Maintain contact with various suppliers;

• Answer incoming phone calls and ensure a positive and professional customer experience;

• Inform customers about our products, arrangements and possibilities;

• Identify commercial opportunities;

• Collect feedback after events to continuously improve the guest experience, for example through surveys or follow-up calls.

Location: Office in the heart of Amsterdam
Salary: €2,700–€2,900 per month based on 40 hours + annual bonus

Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant work experience in sales, retail or a similar commercial role;

• Good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written;

• An assertive and flexible attitude, with no 9-to-5 mentality;

• A strong focus on customer service;

• An eye for detail and a proactive attitude;

• A talent for upselling and strong commercial skills;

• Clear and convincing communication skills.
