Sales & Account Management Internship (B2B) | Flagship Events Amsterdam mbo/hbo/wo

What will you do?

As a Sales & Account Management Intern, you will support the Flagship Events team in bringing in new corporate events. You will help identify and approach potential clients, follow up on enquiries, and prepare quotes and proposals. Your focus will be on event agencies, hotels and other corporate clients. This way, you will learn how the B2B sales process works, from the initial contact to a successful booking. For example, you might map out event agencies in Amsterdam or prepare a proposal for a company interested in organising a private boat cruise.

What will you learn?

• Identify new corporate clients and potential business partners;

• Build prospect lists and approach new leads;

• Follow up on enquiries and maintain contact with potential clients;

• Prepare quotes and commercial proposals;

• Maintain the CRM pipeline and record client interactions;

• Identify commercial opportunities and explore new partnerships;

• Track and report on lead progress and sales results.

Practical information

Start date: February 2027, or earlier by mutual agreement;

Duration: Minimum of 5 months;

Internship type: Work placement internship;

Internship allowance: € 350 per month;

Location: Office in the heart of Amsterdam.

Requirements

• You are currently studying Commercial Economics, International Business, Business Administration, Event Management or a related field;

• You are proactive, organised and professional;

• You have a good command of English;

• An interest in the events industry is a plus;

• Experience with CRM systems is an advantage.
