Operations & Customer Service Internship | Flagship Events Amsterdam mbo/hbo/wo

What will you do?

As an Operations & Customer Service Intern, you will support Flagship Events with its day-to-day operational activities. You will help ensure that our canal cruises, events and other activities are well organised behind the scenes, and that customers receive excellent service from their initial enquiry to the completion of their booking. Your tasks will include managing schedules and bookings, answering customer enquiries and coordinating various activities. You will also assist with the preparation and execution of events. You will learn how to keep an overview, adapt quickly and make sure everything runs smoothly.

What will you learn?

• Process bookings, changes and group enquiries;

• Handle complaints and unexpected situations in a customer-oriented way;

• Support the coordination of canal cruises and events;

• Collect and process customer reviews;

• Assist with post-event cost calculations and evaluations.

Practical information

Start date: February 2027, or earlier by mutual agreement;

Duration: Minimum of 5 months;

Internship type: Work placement internship;

Internship allowance: € 350 per month;

Location: Office in the heart of Amsterdam and various event locations.

Requirements

• You are currently studying Hotel Management, Leisure & Events Management, Tourism Management or a related field;

• You have strong organisational skills and enjoy making sure everything runs smoothly;

• You are customer-oriented and have good communication skills;

• You can prioritise tasks effectively and switch easily between different activities;

• You have a good command of English.
